Meet Rosa Lipin, MD
Rosa B. Lipin, MD is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and a board-certified Otolaryngologist. Her practice encompasses all aspects of ENT and the full breadth of cosmetic and functional plastic surgery of the face, head, and neck. She has a warm bedside manner and enjoys working with and caring for all her patients. She has a particular interest in rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, reconstruction following Mohs surgery, as well as minimally invasive treatments such as neuromodulators and fillers.
Dr. Lipin earned her undergraduate degree, majoring in Communications and then proceeded on to receive a Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology at Tulane University. Dr. Lipin graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine with the highest honors and multiple awards, including membership of the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Lipin moved to Atlanta for residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University. During those 5 years she honed her clinical and surgical skills and received excellent training in all aspects of Otolaryngology. In that time, she authored numerous academic articles, a book chapter, presented her work at several regional and national meetings, and was awarded a prestigious grant for her bench research involving in vitro bone growth and bio-scaffolding as a novel therapy to treat cleft palates. Following residency, Dr. Lipin went on to complete a highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious University of Toronto, Canada. During this year, she focused exclusively on aesthetic and functional surgeries of the face and neck and trained with internationally renowned plastic surgeons.
Besides having impeccable surgical acumen, technical skill, and meticulous attention to detail both clinically and surgically, Dr. Lipin has a natural eye for beauty and elegance. She wants her patients to feel confident, radiant, and beautiful in their own skin. While there are industry standards to beauty, Dr. Lipin truly believes that beauty is subjective — based on one’s anatomy, genetics, skin type and ethnic and cultural heritage. Beauty can mean something different to every individual. That is why she listens attentively to her patient’s aesthetic desires to customize a plan that specifically addresses their goals in a manner that will provide elegant results, highlighting the patient’s own beauty. Dr. Lipin will design a bespoke plan for each of her patients that is sophisticated and detailed in order to achieve an effortless sense of sophistication, balance, and beauty. She focuses on maintaining a natural yet elevated aesthetic for all her patients whether she is addressing facial rejuvenation or reconstruction following the removal of skin cancer. Dr. Lipin is incredibly personable yet professional, attentive, honest, and forms lasting connections with her patients as she is honored to be a part of their journey.
In her free time Dr. Lipin enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines, Pilates, hiking, cooking, tennis, and spending time with her two big loves, her husband and new puppy, Teddy.
