Katie H. Mawhinney, Au.D, CCC-A is a Georgia native audiologist who has been with North Atlanta ENT and Allergy since 2021. She earned a B.S. Ed in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of West Georgia. She was a member of the inaugural Doctor of Audiology class at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2008. Prior to coming to North Atlanta ENT and Allergy, Dr. Mawhinney has worked with both small and large ENT practices around the Metro Atlanta area since 2008. She has experience with diagnostic audiometry for both children and adults. Dr. Mawhinney has extensive hearing aid service and fitting experience for adult patients. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is a strong advocate of early treatment of hearing loss because she has seen what a difference it can make in that person’s life. In her spare time, Dr. Mawhinney enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband. Her interests include fishing, camping, hiking, and most anything done outdoors.
