Hafiah Eltahir, DO
Dr. Hafiah Eltahir is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, she graduated from the University of Alabama, with several honors, and attended the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in medical school, she was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society and was the Dean’s Award recipient of her graduating class. She then attended Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for her surgical training in Otolaryngology-head and Neck Surgery.
As a trainee of Rutgers, Dr. Eltahir has received extensive surgical training in all areas of Otolaryngology, and as a result, she enjoys practicing every facet that the field has to offer. She especially finds joy in treating patients with sinonasal and salivary gland diseases, as well as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). She is certified in Inspire implantation surgery for OSA and looks forward to growing an Inspire sleep program at North Atlanta ENT and Allergy.
Outside of the office and operating room, Dr. Eltahir’s hobbies include running and participating in races, traveling the world, spending time with her family and friends, and binge-watching Netflix and Hulu.
Dr. Eltahir is looking forward to practicing in the metro-Atlanta area and welcomes new adult and pediatric patients.
