Sleep Medicine

Sleep apnea is a very common medical condition with potential serious consequences. In the medical community, screening for sleep apnea hasn’t been stressed enough. Drs. Hoffman and Van Deusen all have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea and all other sleep disorders.

Dr. Hoffman has been a medical director of a sleep lab since 1995 and passed his board certification in sleep medicine in 2009. Very few physicians nationally have dual board certification in both Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine.

North Atlanta ENT & Allergy offers the latest technology in treating snoring and sleep apnea. While CPAP is the gold standard for treatment of sleep apnea, many patients can’t tolerate the CPAP mask. NAENTA provides patients with various alternatives including oral appliance, Inspire Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator Therapy, hyoid suspension surgery, and Uvulopalatoplasty (UPP) surgery.

Snoring & Sleep Apnea Services

  • Sleep consultation and testing including polysomnogram (sleep study)
  • CPAP titrations
  • Sleep Endoscopy to evaluate what surgery would benefit a patient who cannot tolerate a CPAP machine
  • Uvulopalatoplasty (UPPP)
